As Mayor of this wonderful village, I am deeply honored to serve a community that has always been my home. South Roxana isn’t just a place—it’s a family where community spirit, resilience, and optimism define who we are and where we’re headed.
Having lived here most of my life and raised my two children in this close-knit town, I truly believe in the power of unity and the strength that comes from working together. Our progress as a village reflects the dedication of each resident who chooses to embrace the positive and look forward, rather than being held back by skepticism and negativity.
In South Roxana, we put the village first in all we do. We’ve achieved incredible milestones together, including:

In today’s world, especially on social media, negativity can spread quickly, often twisting the truth and creating a toxic environment that discourages progress. Engaging in online criticism does nothing to improve our community—it only divides us and fosters frustration. Instead, we should focus on volunteering, showing empathy, and supporting one another. Real change comes from working together, being involved, and finding solutions—not from tearing each other down. When we channel our energy into building up our village rather than spreading negativity, we create a stronger, more united South Roxana.
With a Doctorate in Occupational Safety and a lifetime of dedication to this community, I am passionate about creating a safe, thriving, and welcoming environment for all.
